The Coffee Merchant began with a simple conviction: that the part of the world where coffee was first welcomed deserved coffee worthy of that legacy.What started as a search for a single honest cup became a journey across mountainsides and harvests - from the highlands of Ethiopia to the historic terraces of Yemen, and on to the farms of Colombia, Kenya, and beyond. We learned to cup at origin, to sit with the growers, and to choose only the lots that earned their place. Along the way we stayed true to the oldest meaning of the word merchant- not a seller, but a bridge between the farmer on the mountainside and the family around the table. Today, every bag we roast carries that same intention: the rigours of 90+ specialty grade, the transparency of true single origins, and above all the warmth of Gulf hospitality, where coffee has always been a gesture of welcome.
