Refund Policy

At The Coffee Merchant, we are committed to delivering the highest quality coffee, freshly roasted and packed to order. Please review our refund and cancellation policy carefully before placing your order.

Coffee and Perishable Goods

All coffee products sold by The Coffee Merchant are considered perishable food items. As such, we do not offer refunds or accept returns for coffee or coffee beans unless:

• The product was not delivered to the customer.

• There is a confirmed delivery delay exceeding seven calendar days beyond the estimated delivery window.

• The product was received damaged or unusable (photo evidence required).

Because our coffee is freshly roasted and packed, and because of health and safety standards surrounding food products, we cannot accept returns or refunds based on taste preferences, grind selection, or a change of mind after the permitted cancellation window

Order Cancellations

You may cancel your order within two hours of placing it for a full refund.

• Cancellation requests made within two hours of order placement will be honored.

• If you request a cancellation after two hours, your order may have already entered processing or roasting, and no refund will be issued.

To cancel your order within the allowed window, please contact us immediately at +971 56 741 6664 with your order number.

Shipping, Couriers & Delivery Delays

We use trusted third-party courier services to deliver all orders across the UAE. While we do our best to ensure on-time delivery, we are not fully in control of courier operations

• Slight delays may rarely occur due to courier logistics.

• If your delivery is delayed, we ask for your patience. Refunds will not be issued for orders delayed less than five calendar working days

• If a delay exceeds five calendar working days, and your order has not yet been delivered, you may contact us to request a refund.

If your package is marked as delivered but was not received, please contact us within 24 hours so we can investigate with the courier.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive a product that is damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order. You must provide:

• A description of the issue.

• Clear photos of the item and its packaging.

Once verified, we will arrange for a replacement or issue a refund as appropriate.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns or provide refunds for the following:

• Opened or used coffee products.

• Coffee or perishable food items not eligible under the conditions listed above.

• Gift cards or promotional vouchers.

• Items marked as Sale or Clearance

• Any product not returned in its original, unused condition with packaging.
